What is a fabulous sci-fi book for middle school readers! It is the first of a 3 part series. It tajes place in a city that is completely underground and has been for over 240 years. No one ever even considers there is a different way of life, until supplies start to run out and prolbems occur. Then its up to 2 kids to find the way to save the entire city from certain death.

I was so entralled with this book I read it in 2 days and immediately started on the 2nd then the 3rd during the weekend. An excellent book if you enjoyed the Giver.
